staffiX is a company specialized in the field of recruitment and selection of staff. We’re looking for an energetic and highly-ambitious Deputy Chief of Party to join our client’s Non-Profit Organization. Their main responsibility would be to lead the implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system of our client’s program and ensure delivery of all activities related to it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the effective planning, implementation, and oversight of all activities related to the program
Leads the design of re-granting mechanism for the program and ensures its effective implementation in close cooperation with Department Director, Chief of Party
Ensures the qualitative and timely presentation of work plans, quarterly program performance reports and annual reports, narrative reports, financial reports, and any other report required by the donor, Chief of Party, Department Director, or Executive Director
Supports timely reporting and communication with donor representatives and the program’s sub-recipients and contractors
Regularly follows legal, policy and political developments related to civil society development
Collaborates with the Department Director, Chief of Party, and Finance Manager to implement adaptive management principles throughout the program
Ensures procurement processes are followed to contract and manage all external associates and service providers related to the program, in accordance with the organization’s internal rules of procedures and donor requirements
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Business Management, Economics, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or other related fields
At least 5 years of experience working with programs in the field of governance, with a preference in private sector development and/or support of civil society
Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role with proven experience in partnership and stakeholder management.
Excellent communication skills in English and Albanian, in both written and oral
Experience with civil society organizations and business sector collaboration, including through business associations
Strong organizational skills and knowledge of monitoring and evaluation systems.
Emotionally intelligent, able to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders
OFFER:
Salary 2,200€ Gross
Working hours 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday (14:00)
